"If I had more time, I would have written a shorter letter" ~ Mark Twain
I'll try to keep this quote in mind for this first introductory post. I can often get carried away, writing unfiltered conscious thoughts. Usually this occurs quite late at night which only adds to the lack of editing and rambling.
So something you read one day might not be there the next. I want to write this without sounding conceded or pretentious, but due to the fact that this will be the first post of many based about me, my life, and the things I love, it is going hard not to come off as self-centered but I shall do my best to be as genuine and true to myself as possible. Maybe I will end up finding out that im not who I thought I am/was but that is one of the exciting benefits to a journal/diary, or somewhat psychological release. Its almost like a time-capsle except I (hopefully) won't forget where it is and even better, I can save as many memories as I want.
I have a tumblr and I've made blogs before but I let them sizzle out when life got too hectic. (I promise I'm going to put much more dedication into this one!) I guess one of the main reasons I did this was to keep a more organized collection of my daily adventures, photos, opinions, and other impacting life events. That way, in one year I can look back and actually know exactly how I felt and see just how much I've grown. I'm certainly not the same person I was a year ago let alone yesterday. I like to think that a person is someone new and different every day. I just know that people are constantly changing, growing, and going through good and bad experiences of their own. So because of that I usually give everyone a second chance. (I'll sometimes hold grudges though sometimes I'll forget over what and then I'll decide it's not worth it and return from being petty.)
Well, due to the fact this is supposed to be an introductory post I might as well introduce myself!
So, Hello! I'm Camille. I love eating, creating, carpentry, sewing, getting lost, and cuddling with my
furry babies. I'm not so much a "Cat Lady" as I am an
Animal Lady. There isn't a single beast or insect in the world that I'm not fascinated about. I can usually be found crawling around in bushes looking for beetles and bugs and when I'm not down in the dirt I can be found up in trees bird watching or waste deep in river water fishing for trout.
This is my handsome mountain man fiancé and my very closest friend. I sometimes call him Coyote, though his name is Chris. There isn't anything in the world I feel uncomfortable talking to him about. I've never felt this secure before and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Nope! Not even one million bucks or a lifetimes supply of Reese's!
